In this internship you will be part of Functional Safety & Cybersecurity team, which is responsible for ensuring the safety and the cybersecurity of the Polestar products.
This position is based at our HQ in Gothenburg, Sweden.
What you'll do
As a Functional Safety Support, you will provide operational support to the team in a variety of matters, from non-complex to complex nature.
For example, your responsibilities will include:
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure that the system you work on is functionally safe and complies with the ISO 26262 series of standards and other relevant standards
• Perform hazard analyses, DFMEA, fault tree analysis
• Derive safety concepts
• Specify functional & technical safety requirements for system as well hardware and software requirements
• Define and execute system & integration tests and verification & validation tests
• Perform safety analysis
• Coordinate and execute creation of functional safety documentation according ISO26262
• Conduct reviews to ensure functional safety standards are being met throughout the entire safety life cycle
• Plan/support/execute functional safety audits of suppliers
Who you are
As a person you are driven with a can-do mindset and highly passionate about the automotive industry. You are a team player and are motivated by challenges and enjoy cooperating with others to reach common goals. You are flexible, well-organized and you're not afraid to try new approaches and out of the box methods.
To be a great fit for this position we believe you have:
• Electrical, Electronic Systems, Electro-mechanical, Automotive, Software or similar engineering degree
• Proficiency in written and spoken English
