In Swedbank you have the opportunity to:
• Be part of a team of highly skilled employees working to ascertain that the Group delivers on high quality standards when it comes to identifying, preventing and managing Financial Crime risks through the Swedbank Group's business operations in the Nordics and Baltics.
• Influence the approach and direction to be taken as regards the Financial Crime efforts in Swedbank Group in view of the overall Strategic direction, through the definition, management and follow up of the overall Financial Crime Risk Programme through analysis, reporting and data driven oversight.
• In collaboration with colleagues in the rest of the Group, drive the work to define the Financial Crime risk appetites to be set by the Board. Perform ongoing oversight of the alignment with the Financial Crime risk appetites through reporting and data driven oversight.
• Develop effective ways of reporting, evaluating and monitoring status and progress of the Financial Crime Risk Programme through quantitative (metrics) and qualitative reporting, to inform tactical and strategic decision making.
• Develop ways of ensuring effective governance and alignment on Financial Crime Risk compliance practices across the Group - building bridges and ensuring effective collaboration, driving aligned ways of working within the wider Financial Crime Risk Compliance organisation.
What is needed in this role:
• An academic degree on risk and business management, economics, law or equivalent.
• 5+ years of experience from private and/or public sector in developing strategy and Financial Crime risk programmes, performing analysis and assessment of risk appetite, risk reporting (incl. metrics (KRI/KPI)) and evaluation of progress in the Financial Crime risk area.
• Experience in drafting and presenting reports on financial crime and risk management in English, in a concise style appropriate for senior management level.
• A strong ability to discover opportunities and consider issues and matters at hand from a holistic perspective (i.e., "connecting the dots").
• A collaborative and solution-oriented, methodical and forward-looking approach.
• "Power-point savvy" - well developed skills with an ability and interest to present and convey information in an effective, creative and accessible way.
• Proficiency in the other Microsoft Office suite programmes Word and Excel.
• Experience from working with Qlik Sense and SharePoint or similar analysis and visualisation of financial crime risk data is beneficial.
