Are you a finance graduate with some years of experience and would you like to support our FP&A Director in driving the growth for AstraZeneca in the Nordics, then we have an exciting opportunity coming up as a Finance Business Partner with the expectation for you to grow and learn fast so you can move into a senior finance business partner role within a few years. Placement for this position is preferably in Stockholm City/Sweden but we are open to consider another location in Nordics/Baltics.
The role
The coming exciting journey requires close finance partnership with the commercial organization. Your part will be to deliver into AstraZeneca 's strategy by supporting our FP&A Director in running an efficient and value adding financial planning and business performance reporting process and be the Finance Business Partner for our medical organization and a number of support functions.
The person who holds this role will be internally viewed as the finance specialist with good analytical skills and can put him/herself into the shoes of the customers to understand their needs. Therefore, you are expected to act as the one point-of-finance contact for your assigned areas.
To be a true Finance Business Partner requires you to use your good analytical and problem-solving skills combined with business acumen and your strategic mind-set to bring your ideas to the table and win trust. You will be working closely with the management team of medical, support functions, and other key stakeholders and will therefore need to be ready to guide, enable, challenge and, influence the decision-making to achieve optimal performance as well as our long and short term strategic objectives, while always living up to AstraZeneca 's values.

What you will do
* Deliver an effective and robust value-adding financial decision-making support
* Proactively provide financial advice and guidance to the commercial area to support them with the financial perspective in decision making
* Support and challenge strategies and resource allocation (employee and other costs) to ensure appropriate return on investment and delivery of long and short term goals
* Providing business performance reports and build next planning submissions while taking proactive initiatives to react to challenges
* Always be on top of our business opportunities and respond to identified risks
* Develop ad hoc business cases for new ideas and projects and be involved in exciting new projects as they arise
* Be the link between the Nordic FP&A team and our shared service centre in Poland who provides many transactional FP&A activities
* Continuous improvement of finance and business processes, risk management and financial compliance in the area of accountability

We are looking for an individual holding a Master degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration (MBA) or similar. As a professional, you have 2-4 years ' experience working as finance analyst or in FP&A preferably the pharmaceutical or FMCG industry but not necessarily.
