hela Sverige This position belongs to department 91600, Product Development Laboratory, at the PD (Product Development) Volvo Powertrain Sweden, located in Gothenburg.
Product Development Laboratory is a complete test laboratory with test capability for engine, transmission, drive line, acoustic and system testing.
Within Product Development Laboratory we are today focusing on increased effectiveness, future investments and we are implementing Volvo production System. In this phase we are looking for a Facility Project management leader.
Department 91650 Technical Development, consists of 21 employees and approximately 15 consultants and is now looking for a Facility Project management leader.
Our role in the Product Development Laboratory is to drive the technical development to be able to meet new demands in testing of engines, transmissions and complete drivelines. The group carry out method and technical assignments and develop the investment plans for new technical equipment and complete test cells at the Product Development Laboratory.
As Facility Project management leader you will be responsible for:
Coordinating all projects within PDL (Facility-, maintenance- and IT projects) according to the established routines and standards
Continuously development of project steering tools and project processes for PDL projects in order to secure high level of QDCF fulfilment in projects and to improve lab efficiency
Follow up project status and report to line managers
Sourcing of project leaders and training of project personnel
To distribute, follow up and report construction assignments
Secure project documentation for correct hand over of projects to maintenance and operations department
Qualifications:
Engineering degree from university or equivalent experience
Documented experience of leading projects
Experience from improvement work of project procaesses
Drive to improve our processes and way of working
You have an analytical mind and communication skills in both Swedish and English
Experience of working within a development organization is considered as a merit
Your personal qualifications:
