We are now recruiting an Expert Financial Controller to the Regional Control team with responsibility for the Care by Volvo business.
Care by Volvo is a premium car subscription model, aiming at the customer of the future. Care by Volvo reflects the progressive approach that Volvo Cars is taking towards the evolution of car ownership and use. The evolving nature of luxury and emerging technology is changing the very nature of the car industry - both for carmakers and, more importantly, for consumers.
What you will do
As our Expert Financial Controller, you will get an opportunity to lead and develop financial processes and initiatives, and drive and implement actions that create value. You will work in close cooperation with other functions in finance and operations. You will grow and develop your competence and your role as you excel in your position. You have the responsibility for the financial planning and analysis of performance including monthly reviews with Finance and operations.
You will also:
* Develop and drive overall performance understanding, suggest and implement tracking of relevant business performance metrics for a subscription business
* Development of the financial processes to support the steering model and to align with the overall financial processes at Volvo Car Group
* Drive system requirements to fit the new subscription business demands
* Leverage and implement best practises while working continuously on automation of reporting

You and your skills
You are familiar with finance processes and systems (Excel, SAP, Hyperion, PowerBI etc.) Have the ability to drive initiatives and take independent responsibility to deliver results. Take ownership and find solutions to solve problems. Further, you have courage to question operations and have a strong sense of ownership and commitment to meet targets and deadlines. To conclude you are business minded and have a relevant education or experience.
