Volvo Group IT Business Control
The Volvo Group IT Business Control is the finance function within Volvo Group IT. Group IT Business Control is a global organization of 80 people whereof 35 are located in Sweden. Within the Business Control organization we are a team of 10 people managing and developing Group IT finance process and supporting tools. We are now looking for and experienced Business Controller that will strength the team. When joining our team you will get an opportunity to work with passionate colleagues and in a global context. Role Mission & Context
The Process Controller is specialist role dedicated to support and develop a specified process area of the process of Group IT Financial process. The Process Controller will combine deep knowledge and understanding of the business requirement, the financial model and the supporting tools in order to secure a well function financial process. The Process Controller represents business towards the Solution Leader and maintenance organization and is the business support to the users.
The Process Controller has three main tasks; drive development, support users and execute special operational tasks. The Process Controller is working in the context of the Financial Policies and Procedures (FPP) for Volvo Group including IT financial framework.
Main focus will be our Information model and our reports. In this role you will be a key person in securing that we can provide state of art reports to the Business Control organization and managers in the entire IT community in Volvo Group.
Key Responsibilities
Analyze business needs and business issues from a process and solution perspective
Initiate and follow up improvement actions
Perform training and give support to Volvo Group business control organizations
Secure the day to day operation of the Business Warehouse (BW) and other reporting tools
Secure that all actives in the sub-process are in compliance with the overall requirements
Continuously improve way of working
Preferred locations: Gothenburg or Eskilstuna (Sweden), Lyon (France), Wroclaw (Poland) or Gent (Belgium)
Travel required: Occasional

• University/Master's Degree or equivalent in relevant area
• Experience from Financial and Business controlling
• Experience from change management
• Flexible and interested in financial processes
• Very strong personal integrity and credibility
• Complete proficiency in English
• Experience from SAP BI including Business Object is a merit
