Publiceringsdatum2016-11-09Dina arbetsuppgifterAs head of the Technical department you are responsible for driving the techical development of the Karlskoga plant forward. As Engineering Manager you have the responsibility for an organization of approximatley 15 employees, whithin the area of process development, technical and maintenance. You will report directly to plant manager.
Within your department lays introduction of new products and processes as well as validating new and already existing processes and equipment. You are also responsible for product configurations and for the maintenance of machinery.
As Engineering Manager you are responsible for:
• New products being introduced on time, with minimum disturbance and effectivly manufactured.
• Process changes and introduction of process equipment, including specifying and validating the equipment as well as transfer to produktion is done in a structured manner.
• Maintaining the product configuration and establishing the configurations for new products.
• External suppliers being validated
You are expected to continiuously take action to improve the production processes and will be involved in various improvement projects both locally but also in close cooperation with other plants in the group.
Utbildning/erfarenhet
We expect that you have a degree in Mechanical Engineering combined with experiance from a similar position where you have aquired a deep technical knowledge and a wide understanding of development of production processes. It is beneficial if you have been working in a strictly regulated manufacturing company, such as defence or pharmaceutical industries.
You also have knowledge in working with Lean, Six Sigma or similar techniques for continiuous improverments.
You find it stimulating to work in a fast moving environment where you are expected to reach beyond your goals. You are analytical, with a problem solving focus. As a leader your aim is to develop your employees and to facilitate an organization that is dedicated and independant. You are communicative and are used to working on different levels within the company.
You are fluent in both swedish and english, both spoken and in writing.
