We are now looking for our next Engineering Manager for the Axis Small Solution & Mobile Apps Test Team who wants to be part of a forward-thinking and encouraging environment!
Your future team
We are an innovative, dedicated, and energetic team who loves solving problems and come up with solutions together. Our team is called Small Solution & Mobile Apps Test and we perform test of our application Companion and test of our mobile applications.
What will you do?
Axis is on a journey where software, applications, systems and connected services have an increased business and technical focus to complement our world class product portfolio. In this position you will be responsible for quality assurance of upgrading of video managing systems for Small Business segment and for our mobile applications. This includes all aspects of quality assurance.
You set the framework and directions, and place great trust in your team to deliver with your support!
Your main tasks will be to:
* Lead the team and individuals in their daily activities, make sure we get most out of everyone and that they get the needed support.
* Develop your team and its members related to both the needs of the company as well as in balance with the needs of every individual.
* Run the day-to-day operations making sure that we have the right competence, test processes and test tools as well as a relevant network within the organization.
* Perform standard management tasks like development talks, salary setting, budgeting, recruitment of test engineers, etc.

You love leading from a people perspective, securing an environment of coaching and giving feedback, identifying development needs, taking actions and follow-up. Since we are working close together with the development organization in agile teams, you find it easy to interact with individuals as well as organizations.
You combine the skill of listening with the skill of deciding and can find a good balance in between the two. You are an open-minded, empathic, and cooperative person - a leader who can make people feel enthusiastic about their work.
In addition to the above you have/are;
* Leadership experience, such as test lead, project manager or line manager.
* You understand and see the value in a diverse team
* You are really passionate about testing and quality work and have relevant test experiences from former assignments.
* Well up to date with modern agile ways of testing.
* Fluent in Swedish and English.
