Job description
For our customer we are looking for a MULTIMEDIA/CAMERA specialist.
The Multimedia Platform team at the customer are looking for a developer with dedication for multimedia and the camera area in particular. You are familiar with Android platform multimedia software stack, have experience working close to hardware but also experienced in application development. Imaging, video encode and camera knowledge is meritorious. You will work in teams based both in Sweden and across international boundaries.
The team is responsible for the video record, edit and camera area with mission to improve the Android codebase, extend the functionality and integrate/enable the customer/3rd party technologies, covering the full stack from low level software to application development.
You will work in a highly experienced team with planning, designing, implementing and verifying the software components that will be used in future mobile devices. You will also be responsible for enhancing and maintaining existing software.
Competence
BS/MS in computer science or equivalent experience
5-10 years of professional or documented C/C++/Java programming.
Experience in Android platform as well as application development.
Good communication skills and a team player.
Self driven problem solver and eager to learn.
Professional spoken and written English.
Differentiators:
Camera and Multimedia domain knowledge.
Experience in working close to hardware within Multimedia/Camera domain.
Android Multimedia and Camera SW stack knowledge.
Experience of working with OpenMAX
