The team you'll be part of
Nokia CNS (Core Network and Services) has a job opening for a technical presales role with accredited "Digital Operations" (DO) domain knowledge and strong European market pedigree to join one of our offices in Europe.
In this role the presales person will help growing the DO business in Europe in collaboration with the Sales, Marketing and Product teams. Through proactive and close customer engagement this subject matter expert (SME) will support the success of the DO domain. As such (s)he will gather, understand and synthesize customer requirements to drive an overall winning solution strategy for deals.
I.e.: - For qualified opportunities, lead customer technical engagements, understand customers' business pain points, requirements (including detailed use cases) and KPI's.
• Lead offer solution strategy (including products and services requirements): assess customer RFP or input documents, define solution to be positioned and reference architecture by adapting Nokia blueprints to customer needs.
• Lead discussions on technical requirements and resolve gaps with Product Managers and System Engineers to ensure customer features/roadmap commitments can be met, during pre-sales engagements.
• Guide and complete technical offer deliverables: SoW, SoC/Point by point Responses, BoQs.
• Support the sales team in bid defense and lead CNS technical presentation to the customer.
- Participate in periodic reviews with Domain Leaders to provide status of key opportunities, win/loss feedbacks and identified product/services gaps
• Complete all administrative assignments comprehensively and on-time.

Industry Expert: maintain a position as a recognized subject matter expert (SME) in the "DO" domain through training and accreditation.

Your skills and experience You have:
10 years of work experience in software engineering (product management, sales engineering/pre-sales, bids and proposals, or system engineering).
• Proven track record providing creative and innovative solutions to large multinational CSP's and Enterprises.
• Ability to establish a strong industry network and proactively represent Nokia at industry events and forums
• Accredited knowledge of CNS Digital Operations solutions e.g. NAC, NOrC, FlowOne and general cloud computing NCOM
• Ability to create innovative and automated B2x digital customer journeys with a mix of professional services and standard fulfillment.
• Masters level education in Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science or Telecommunications Engineering.
• Detailed knowledge of the European market segments (service providers, enterprises and Internet of Things) and their Domain requirements.
• Confident presenter and compelling public speaker.
• Excellent English verbal and written communication skills required. Other market specific languages are a plus.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet critical timelines.
• Creative 'out of the box' thinker.
• Detail orientated with an ability to author and negotiate compelling business cases.
• Strong work ethic, ability to work independently, self-motivated, driven with a desire to succeed.
