• Driving the overall implementation of the digital transformation, ensuring that transformation objectives are cascaded down into transformation plans
• Defining, measuring and following up on transformation KPIs, including taking action on deviations from the target plan
• Ensuring the consistency and integrity of the overall transformation plan, which is consolidated from the various areas , capability area and chapter transformation plans
• Orchestrate and define the cadence of the execution of the transformation plan to include all relevant handovers, checkpoints to ensure the speedy and rhythmic delivery of the transformation
• Responsible for reporting on the transformation progress, including setting up the reporting format and cadence
• Actively push for an efficient and effective implementation of the transformation, adapting to the rapidly changing digital landscape
• Driving the work of setting of a new culture within the digital organisation that fits both the strong IKEA values and the new digital ambition, focusing on driving IKEA/INGKA business results, both on short- and long term
• Provide leadership that promotes best practice in transformation and cultural changes - with both the co-workers and IKEA business in focus
• Work across initiatives and functions within INGKA Group by facilitating multi-stakeholder alignment, driving transformation activities across the organization and steering towards a successful transformation
You have knowledge in following areas:
• Strong ability to set the goals, follow through, deliver and follow up
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trustful relationships
• Deep understanding of how to develop, define, plan and execute a transformation roadmap to meet business requirements together with relevant stakeholders
• Knowledge of the IKEA corporate identity, core values and vision of creating a better everyday life for the many people, to ensure right representation
• Strong communication skills in English (spoken and written)
As a person you demonstrate humility, perspective, openness and resolve-and the wisdom to know which to employ and in what combination. You have experience of leading digital change/transformation initiatives as well as of driving and managing global large scale change programmes involving organisation, process and behavioural change.
You also have experience of how agile teams and matrix organisations operate
And of implementing new technology/digital organisation structures and teams within complex and large scale businesses
Your main objective is to lead the development and implementation of a technology capability area roadmap for the Technology Capability areas of Digital Technology and thereby maintain a critical part of the technology backbone that provides a high quality technology service to the IKEA business. This includes ensuring that each technology capability area keeps a limited set of technology stacks as well as being accountable for the quality of the stacks. To manage teams and functions as well as to lead, coach and develop members of the Technology Capability areas to promote the best practice and common standards and technology usage across IKEA.
