www.slu.seThe Division of Communication has the overall responsibility for the university's image and
external and internal communication. We work with maintenance of the university web
pages, production of information material about the university, press releases, internal
communication, information to prospective students and information about research findings.
Duties: We are looking for a dedicated, goal-oriented communicator, to contribute to our
international student recruitment. The Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences operates
with universities all over the world, - and recruits from a wide range of countries. We aim
at developing our international student recruitment and internationalization even further.
This position will involve a large range of activities:
• implementing an international marketing strategy
• networking, nationally and internationally
• updating and improving websites
• producing information material
• playing an active role on social medias such as facebook, twitter and blogs.
Qualifications: We believe that you are result-oriented, but also a team player. The
position is based at the Division of Communication, but the task requires close cooperation
with other units. Knowledge about the university sector is a prerequisite. Experience or
knowledge of student recruitment is an advantage. Effective communication skills, both
written and verbal in English (working language, maybe your mother-tongue?) and
Swedish are essential, as is knowledge about marketing on the web and via social media.
We assume that you are well-acquainted with working tools like Adobe CS 5 and
EPI-server.
This is a new and challenging position, starting as a project employment for 2 years.
