We're strengthening our Supply communication team with a Communication Partner for the Raw Material Area who can lead and execute communication initiatives, big and small, to keep co-workers and stakeholders inspired and engaged in what we do in IKEA Supply. Job Description
About the assignment The overall communication assignment is to lead, develop and enable impactful communication that delivers to making IKEA even more affordable, accessible and sustainable and contribute to strengthening IKEA as a meaningful and trusted brand in people's hearts and minds.

When working with the Raw Material Area you will be part of the Supply Communication Operations team. Your primary focus in this role is the Raw Material topic - a topic that aims at enabling IKEA to influence responsible sourcing and business practices of different raw materials in the world. It is an enormous work, a fantastic responsibility and a crucial part of our business that we want to become better at sharing. If you are a communications professional who gets a kick out of making complex ideas easier to understand, is interested in pushing the boundaries for corporate transparency and wants to come closer to one of the most important sustainability development areas of our time, this is the job for you!

For you to be successful in the role we believe that you have extensive knowledge and understanding of:
• Contributing to the implementation of business strategies, priorities, and processes through communication.
• Providing communication expertise to managers and co-workers. Support them in continuously developing their communication skills.
• Enabling change through communication with the appropriate methodologies, planning, execution and activation of
communication.
• Securing effective communication flows, aligned with the IKEA network, to defined target groups within and outside the raw material functional unit. Consciously share information and ensure that the right information reaches the right people at the right time.
• Leading and coordinating assigned communication topics and/or projects across businesses, in line with common agendas and aligned ways of working.
• Ensuring that managers and co-workers lead with communication and have access to relevant and updated information, tools, and templates. Act as the visual, verbal, and written communication expert, and create communication that reflects this.
Qualifications
We believe that you...
• have a number of years' experience from previous communication roles. Experience working in IKEA, supply chain and/or the raw materials industry is a merit.
• are passionate about communication as a business enabler and tactical tool to lead business and people, and to drive engagement
• have the ability to translate complex business ideas into simple and straightforward communication solutions and content
• enjoys working in a fast-paced and future-oriented environment
• have the ability to build trust and strong working relationships across a diverse group of people
• are energised by working both independently and with others across the IKEA network
• have the ability to help create an open climate where co-workers are informed, engaged, and empowered, acting as a role model with the IKEA values
