Let us tell you a little about who we are
At the Autonomous Solutions function we are in charge of commercializing solutions, driving strategy, roadmaps and development of solutions within the automations area that increases our customer's productivity. We sit within the Volvo Trucks 2.0 function, and our mission is to implement Autonomous Solutions globally within Volvo Trucks.
Our current mission is to employ our newest member of the team. In other words, we are looking for you, our new Commercial Project Manager (CPM) Autonomous Solutions!
What will you be doing?
As our Commercial Project Manager (CPM) Autonomous Solutions, you will lead the commercial part of the solutions/service development projects aiming at delivering unique customer experiences within the automation area.
In other words, you will:
• Lead cross-functional teams (e.g. from MarCom, Legal, Market Companies/Sales Areas) from conceptualization to full commercial offering
• Manage required stakeholders (internal or external) at each stage of the solutions/service development project
• Translate customer needs into business requirements as input to the solutions/service development project
• Set and anchor a solution/service scope for the initial solution/service commercialization, and set the solution/service development roadmap for further improvements
• Define or/and improve the solution/service building blocks to facilitate implementations for other regions
• Evaluate and validate customer desirability, business viability and technological and organization feasibility of new offerings and solutions from a brand perspective

Who are you?
In this role, you will have plenty of different activities going on and therefore you need strong project management skills with a high customer focus and a ''can do'' mindset and solutions/service development skills. As you will communicate globally across all levels of the organization, you need to have excellent interpersonal skills combined with a positive attitude and analytical skills. Naturally, you also have an ability to visualize concepts and ideas.
Your qualifications will also include:
• Bachelor and/or Master's degree in commercial or technical area
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken
• Experience in leading and driving projects
• Understanding of the international transport industry
