About the company
Our client, a well-known world-wide IT-company, is looking for a qualified channel marketing specialist for consulting assignment. The company develops, manufactures, licenses, supports and sells computer software, consumer electronics and personal computers and services.
Purpose
As Channel Marketing Manager you will be responsible for product launches, marketing campaigns, wide-ranging store staff programs, product demos, creative analyzing and retailer websites. You will also work alongside managers and category managers to build business cases and define promotional opportunities such as analyzing market conditions, product sell-through, shopper-to-buyer and competitor activity. Alongside the above you will develop and operate channel marketing, PR, Events, Media and CRM. During eight months you will be in a lead position with team responsibility which places high demands on your ability to lead and operate teams in a highly motivating and energetic way.
Key accountabilities
Develop a close working relationship with Sales & Marketing to agree on Channel objectives
• Identify product goals and opportunities
• Identify retailer category goals and opportunities
• Ensure flawless and effective execution of the channel marketing plans
• Leverage expertise and share and re-apply ideas
Develop and execute a comprehensive retail marketing plan
• Identifying category growth drivers via deep sales/consumer fundamental analysis
• Recommend and execute differentiated in-store and online marketing innovation and execution sustainable sales lift
• Collaborate with Sales & Marketing to identify breakthrough offers during peak time/launches
• Maximize the impact of various category plans by synchronizing in and out of the store marketing communication
Shopping experience - in store and online
• Work closely with product managers/category leads to ensure appropriate assortment at retail with desired store layout
• Design and execute consumer's education programs to highlight POD/purchase drivers
Merchandizing budget ownership and ROI management
• Own manage efficient and effective channel marketing budget for optimal ROI and strategic wins
Experiences required
• The versatility to translate you channel marketing expertise for our industry
• Experience in the FMCG or electrical goods and retail channel, product marketing and retail execution on-line and off-line
• Demonstrated success in Channel Marketing leadership and influencing category growth
• Demonstrated success in developing and executing in-store and integrated marketing campaigns
• You are highly organized and able to manage multiple projects and you have the ability to in a successful way manage and develop teams
