hela Sverige Michelin is now seeking to recruit a Business Support Controller to our Nordic head office in Stockholm. We offer you a chance to work for a global company, in an international environment, being part of a warm and friendly group of colleagues!
Your mission will be to prepare the overall overview and ensure follow-up for the Commercial Expenses and the cost related to Service Groups. You will also provide management with timely reports of variances compared to forecast and previous year, and propose corrective action where applicable.
In addition to this, we are looking for someone who can help us design, develop and validate reporting tools and dashboards for the financial department to increase productivity and improve customer satisfaction. To be able to do this, we would like you to have skills in visual basics for Excel and Access.
Your main responsibilities will consist of;
• Analysis and requests; prepare and initiate requests for compiling scorecards, support profitability improvement, conduct monitoring and analysis and propose corrective action plans.
• Prepare and develop reforecasts; prepare information and formats necessary for construction of reforecasts, alert manager about completeness of assembled data and consolidate and draw up summaries.
• Reporting; produce reporting as required, check data quality and alert manager about any discrepancies that are found, prepare analysis for budget holders of any variances from reforecasts.
• To be a stakeholder in the steering process; help improve the quality of the information used to manage the Business through operating procedures and support for internal customers.
• To be the reporting specialist in our financial department; Apply standardized control processes measures and reporting across the organization. Design, develop and validate financial and operational reports as well as tools (Microsoft Office) for the financial department.
The person we are looking for should have a bachelor or master's degree within Accounting and Finance or a degree within IT combined with experience from working in a financial department. We need you to have some experience in working with financial analyses and/or controlling and we require you to be fluent in English, as this is our company language. Since we are looking for someone to help us develop our processes and reporting tools, we value high skills in IT, especially visual basics for Microsoft Excel and Access.
As a person you should have the ability to see improvements and drive change. Since a financial department has peaks with high workload and clear deadlines, we need you to be able to prioritize on your own. This position has a lot of contacts on all levels in the organization, both in the Nordics as well as in UK and our head-office in France, so we need you to have strong communication skills, be a team-player and like to work in cross-functional teams.
