Parts Supply Chain is our central organisation for managing our global parts services and includes central and regional distribution centres and workshops as well as units for developing and planning all our parts related activities together with our colleagues in the market organisations. We are now looking for a manager to run one of the key departments within the organisation. One of the most challenging tasks in our global parts supply chain is to create and secure the availability of parts in Tetra Pak's stocks in a cost efficient way. This is the main responsibility of the unit Global Planning. The team in this unit is working in a cross-organisational environment, ranging from suppliers to customers. Stock control, assortment planning, master data, daily purchasing from suppliers, supply chain alignments are examples of activities dealt with by the approximately 30 persons working in this unit. The responsibility for the manager covers e.g. - Global stock management and planning of all Tetra Pak parts stocks around the world, incl. demand management and analysis such as forecast, supplier info and customer info - Stock control systems development and master data management - Relations and coordination with Product Owner and Supplier Management organisations - Assortment coordination and operational (stock) purchasing - Projects and activities related to parts stock management in clusters and globally - Participation in strategic and management development of Parts Supply Chain centrally and globally
Qualifications
To be successful in this position you need to have a very good analytical ability and strategic skills and a high level of business understanding. You should have a very good theoretical and practical knowledge of commercial, logistics, stock control and supply chain issues and preferably experience from global supply chain management. Experience from working in global organisations, ideally gained from working close with customers, will be beneficial. You should also have experience from and ability to successfully manage people and projects, and to handle global and cross-functional change management issues. As a person you are results oriented, open, like to communicate and do it well. You like to work in teams and have a very good ability for creating networks and partnership relations. You are a manager who likes to develop as well as learn from the team you manage. You like to work with both long and short term activities and to see things finalised and successfully delivered.
