Jeppesen is looking for a Business Analyst who will be part of a skilled team; solving problems, designing and customizing our crew management products for airlines in close cooperation with the client. Work tasks will include understanding the client's needs, analyzing and understanding the business issues and data challenges of client's organization and industry.

In the role as Business Analyst you will identify client organization's strengths and weaknesses and suggest areas of improvement, review and edit requirements, specifications, business processes and recommendations related to proposed solution. You will also develop functional specifications and system design specifications for client engagements, translate and reconcile high level business requirements into functional and non-functional technical requirements. Additionally you will perform current state analysis, gap analysis, risk assessment, and other related tasks as directed.

You will be based in Göteborg and occasionally, travel to our customers is expected.

Background and experience:

• Six (6) or more years of related and equivalent experience, or the equivalent and validated proficiencies
• Strong Communication skills
• Proven Technical understanding
• Experience in Problem Solving
• Preferably practical knowledge and experience in the airline industry
• Bachelor's degree in information technology, with an emphasis validating and reconciling functional and non-functional requirements, or the equivalent combination of related training, proficiency and experience.

Preferred assets:

Knowledge of Unified Modeling Language within the business context.

Understanding and demonstration of :
• Actor Diagrams
• Class Diagrams
• Activity Flow Diagrams
• Sequence Diagrams
• Use Case Modeling

Experience from Software application using Enterprise Architect
