Brand Director
The primary objective of the Brand Director is to make Quixel a highly esteemed household brand. The Brand Director is responsible for managing the complete rebranding of Quixel and its products to publically position Quixel together with globally leading tools providers.
The Brand Director shall formulate, execute and manage social media and mail campaign strategies as well as community competitions for raising brand awareness, generating promotional content, driving sales and increasing web traffic. The Brand Director shall establish advertising relationships with popular online communities and resources, and liaise with physical and digital media to publish news, articles, interviews, deals and reviews about Quixel and its products.
The Brand Director is responsible for managing, driving and growing Quixel's presence in social media, including but not limited to Facebook, Twitter, Youtube and popular online communities, upholding and stimulating a daily dialog with followers.
The Brand Director shall diversify the Quixel brand to appeal and extend to markets including but not limited to China, Korea, Japan and Russia, and industries including but not limited to Film, Outsourcing, Universities, Architecture and Advertising.
The Brand Director shall build and foster a strong core community of prominent artists actively promoting Quixel by inviting artists to work together with Quixel. The Brand Director shall work with and encourage artists on a daily basis to generate a steady stream of features, break-downs, testimonials, text guides, and video tutorials to actively promote and strengthen the Quixel brand.
The Brand Director shall build upon existing customer relations and obtain endorsements from the world's leading studios to publically enforce the Quixel industry standard status. The Brand Director shall actively target and approach leading studios and artists currently unfamiliar with Quixel's products to strengthen Quixel's credibility by consciously shaping an attractive client base.
The applicant must meet ALL of the following requirements:
• Professional Lead Artist experience at a game studio
• Professional Outsourcing Manager experience at a game studio
• Must be able to travel frequently all over America, Europe and Asia
• Experience administrating large online communities for artists
• Experience managing 20+ 3D and 2D artists in online collaborations
• Have a broad network of connections within the game and film industries
• Having released at least two books on video game art creation
• Having hosted at least 3 largely popular game art competitions
