About the Mission

We are seeking a talented and motivated BI Analyst to join our dynamic team and play a crucial role in shaping the future of veterinary care.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams to extract valuable insights from complex data sets, contributing to the enhancement of our services and the overall success of the company.
In terms of technology, we use the Microsoft stack including Azure SQL and with Power BI as our platform for visualization and data/report sharing.
About the Role
Summary of role:
• Create and maintain Power BI semantic models and reports based on our Azure SQL databases that provide actionable insights to internal stakeholders
• Gather and analyze data from various sources including Practice Management System (PMS), ERP, HR systems, etc.
• Help promote successful adoption of reports across the Group
• Drive harmonization of KPIs and reporting
• Work closely with existing in local country BI staff to support & share best practices
• Support specific data driven projects by helping supply relevant data, perform analysis and generate insights, often in close collaboration with other Group functions (eg. Marketing, Customer analysis, Sustainability and Pricing)
• Collaborate with veterinary and business teams to identify KPIs and metrics by which to measure business success
• Explore and understand the data available from the Group's various systems and data sources in close collaboration with Data Engineering team
Required attributes:
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field
• 3+ years of Power BI experience in business intelligence, data analysis, or a related role. This includes loading data using Power Query, building the semantic model, using DAX, creating user friendly reports
• SQL experience: ability to wrangle and extract data from SQL databases using views, joins, unions, where and case when clauses
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication / presentation skills in English as stakeholders will be located in numerous different countries
• Ability to take initiative and responsibility to ensure deadlines are met
Nice to have attributes:
• Proficiency in Python is a plus
• Knowledge of the veterinary / healthcare industry is a plus
