Authority Reporting Specialist
Job Description
In the role as Authority Reporting Specialist you will report directly to the CFO. The role includes, but is not limited to:
• Overall responsibility for all SFA authority reports, including all six branches, to local financial supervisory authorities (FSA) and central banks. (The reports are prepared by branch accountants on a monthly basis)
• Overall responsibility for making sure all reports are in line with valid legislation
• Overall responsibility for ensuring updated instructions are in place for all existing reports
• Overall responsibility for addressing questions from the authorities in a timely manner
Additional responsibilities:
• Mapping and creation of new reports demanded by FSA's in the countries where SFA is present
• Leading the continuous improvement work/group for authority reporting
Steering Documents
• New or updated instructions from FSA or other country specific institution
• All legislation applicable to a regulated finance company (i.e. FFFS - Finansinspektionens författningssamling, ÅRKL - Lag om årsredovisning i kreditmarknads- och värdepappersbolag, etc.)
Job Requirements
We are looking for someone with several years of experience within a financial institution, preferably in the automotive industry. You need to have good knowledge of compliance issues, especially reporting requirements for a financial services company/financial institution. Wealso believe that you have:
• A university degree, or similar, in finance, accounting or law
• Extensive knowledge of accounting and reporting
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, especially Excel
• Fluent Swedish and English - both oral and written
• Knowledge of the View21 suite (Banqsoft) leasing system would be advantageous
