Job Summary

We are now looking for an Application Sales Manager who will pivotal role in driving and supporting sales efforts within our Business Stream New Food. This role is central to promoting, quoting, and selling our bioprocessing solutions and application expertise services, ensuring sustainable growth for our business and customers.
You will be based in Lund, Sweden, and you should expect to travel approximately 25% yearly. Alternative locations within Europe will be considered for the right candidate.
Tetra Pak is not considering applicants (Internal or External) who require international relocation.
What you will do
As an Application Sales Manager, you will engage with your immediate team and cross-functional stakeholders, particularly Processing Sales teams, to align business development strategies and create synergies across different markets. By understanding customer needs and industry trends, you will help shape tailored solutions that drive innovation and commercial success. Your role will also involve representing our expertise in customer discussions, industry events, and technical engagements, ensuring we remain at the forefront of this dynamic industry.
Main responsibilities:
Monitor Tetra Pak and respective competitors' sales performance, envisioning adjustments on the business strategy.
Develop loyalty initiatives along with the Market Sales Team to retain and grow the customer base.
Track and report on sales performance, and market feedback.
Supporting creation of a relevant and competitive technical solution, built up from multiple Tetra Pak entities, by working with the pre-project and sales teams, globally.
Promote, market, quote and sell our production solutions & services in close cooperation with the markets.

We believe you have
A bachelor's in biotechnology, Food Science, Bioprocess or Food Engineering or related discipline. Advanced degrees or certifications in business or technology fields can be beneficial.
At least 8 years of solutions-based or value-based sales experience as well as good understanding of bioprocesses applied to food production.
Strong understanding of bioprocessing technologies, particularly fermentation processes.
Knowledge of the food ingredients industry and current trends in fermented food production.
Proven track record in sales, preferably in the biotech or food technology sectors.
Experience in coordinating cross-functional teams and resources to achieve sales goals.
You are fluent both in written and spoken English, other European languages are considered a plus.
