www.se.nielsen.com.Business Systems (BS) is a Nielsen function that delivers branded business applications in the Nielsen Answers framework to deliver insights to well-known clients and retailers in the fast moving consumer goods (FMCG) industry. In addition to these syndicated deliverables, BS designs and builds customized solutions on behalf of clients and retailers. As an Application Developer within BS you will interact daily with clients and retailers, yet also with managers from Nielsen?s Commercial departments. It will be your primary responsibility to support the deployment of Nielsen Answers, yet you will also need to deliver customized solutions to meet specific needs. For this reason you will need to be able to assess these needs and then build bespoke reporting solutions in Nielsen Answers. You will work in a pan-Nordic team and report to the Nordic Business Systems Manager (based in Finland).
Qualifications
• Higher education in science, engineering, technology, IS/IT or alternatively business, economics, statistics, mathematics
• Fluent in English (verbal and written) and preferably Swedish
• Numerate with an excellent understanding of numbers
• Good communication skills

• Service minded with focus on dialogue and problem solving
• Focused on delivering high quality even under pressure
• Ability to work independently but is also a team player
• Ability to cooperate with Commercial Managers and being proactive
• Good at organizing your work and setting priorities
