Accountant
Come join our growing finance team as our newest Accountant in a team of 8! No day at Axel Arigato is the same, so while are a process oriented and building team we guarantee you will have fun and be challenged as we are in a growth phase across the company. MORE ABOUT THE ROLE
As an Accountant at Axel Arigato, you are overall responsible for quality of all accounting and month end closing, including internal and external reporting. You will supervise one or several legal entities
Responsibilities
• Ongoing accounting processes for the Axel Arigato Group companies.
• Month-end closing responsibilities for the Axel Arigato Group companies.
• VAT reporting for selected countries
• Reconciliation of incoming payments from payment providers against customer transactions.
• Supporting the Junior Accountants with booking for incoming customer payments and vendor payments; reconciliation of Customer and Vendor ledgers.
• Supporting the Junior Accountants with weekly pay run
• Supporting the GL Team Manager and Head of Shared Service with the annual audit for all companies and process improvement projects.
• Ensure that all financial transactions are recorded in time and follow legal requirements.
• Responsible for Balance sheet reconciliation and supporting the GL Team Manager in performing risk analysis of Balance sheets
• Responsible for liquidity forecasts and contribute to developing the company's cash management
• Involved in implementing new processes for better internal control and efficiency.

• University degree in accounting
• 3-5 years of relevant work experience as an Accountant
• Audit experience is qualifying
• SAP experience
• Solution-oriented with a methodical and structured approach
• Openness to new tasks and professional development in a fast-growing company
• Experience within a multi national company or within multiple markets is a bonus
