Overview

Business Unit Cloud & IP is formed to win the battle for the future - leveraging on the foundation laid out by the work already done from BU Networks.

One key support function within BU Cloud & IP Business Mgmt & Sales Support is the Commercial Management team, comprising of Strategic Pricing & Tactical Commercial Management.

Our mission is to secure growth and profitability, provide key commercial competence towards Regions and PA/PL, and implement and embed Price Excellence in Regions and within the BU.

Within the Strategic Pricing unit we are now looking for a Strategic & Tactical Price Manager to take on the challenge of securing commercial competitiveness for products and solutions in the area of IP Routing.

Position Summary

Strategic pricing: securing commercial competitiveness and supporting financial and market share commitments for the IP Routing portfolio within BU Cloud & IP, by providing commercial and pricing strategies and models that are based on customer value, competitive, easy to apply and understand.

Tactical pricing: securing growth and long and short-term profitable business for Ericsson, by partnering with regional Commercial Managers and Accounts to define commercial strategies, support negotiations and take commercial decisions. Implement and embed Pricing Excellence in regions and BU.

Work in the Sales Decision Process for a set of Regions, supporting regional Commercial Managers in preparing attractive customer offers of the complete IP Routing portfolio. In more detail this means:

• Develop and maintain relationship with global commercial community (incl regional business mgmt teams)
• Support Commercial customer negotiations
• Support Key Account Managers and regional Commercial Management in defining Commercial Proposal Strategy
• Secure profitable sales
• Ensure compliance to BUCI commercial strategy
• Provide input to BUCI short-and long term commercial strategy with commercial awareness
• Development and deployment of price/business models
• Implement & drive Price Excellence new ways of working (including Ericsson SW Model & One Price System) towards the regions
• Analyze commercial trends and market dynamics with commercial focus

Experience Requirements

Capability to translate products into values for customers
Academic degree, Msc, MBA or equivalent
