hela Sverige Multimedia Telephony Application Server (MTAS) and IP Multimedia Subsystem (IMS) are mandatory products in Ericssons Voice Over LTE and Multimedia telephony solution. Moving to 4G/LTE and beyond, the number of customers and active subscribers using MTAS is growing rapidly. IMS offers a standardized way to deliver convenient IP-based consumer and enterprise services to fixed, mobile and cable community - enabled by one common core and control.
It is the cornerstone of the evolution of current networks to a single, all-IP based network where all types of services (4G/LTE, messaging, telephony, etc.) and media (voice, video, pictures, text etc.) can be integrated into a single user experience. We are located in Kista close to the Ericsson headquarter office.
We have a lean and agile working environment where you are able to influence and make a difference. We work in X-functional teams where everyone is flexible to perform several tasks (design, function test, system test and system management) to develop features in the most efficient way.
We are looking for several experienced SW Developers with focus for application design and implementation. You will be working with the MTAS product using primarily C++ and limited Java and Scripting languages. Over time we expect you to take on several other tasks such as test automation system analysis, and related tasks for system development.

As a Developer you will develop and maintain products (units, nodes, networks, systems and solutions),including development activities like requirement analysis, design, integration, verification, configuration management, PLM support, product documentation.
Responsibilities & Tasks
Perform Continuous Analysis and Requirement Handling.
Develop and Test High Quality Products
Perform Trouble Shooting and Customer Support
Drive Continuous Improvements of Products and Processes
Qualifications
M.Sc in Computer Science or equivalent level of knowledge.
English Skills
The following experiences are considered as merits:
Programming languages: C++, TTCN, Java, other Scripting languages
Object Oriented Design and refactoring
Domain Knowledge: Protocol implementation and testing, IMS, SIP. Voice over IP, Diameter, SS7
Other skills: test design, test automation and trouble shooting
