Job Description
The role as Head of Category Marketing TV & Media is to secure that we globally are able to motivate customer investment decisions and create a preference for Ericsson as the preferred partner. The driver?s responsibility will span across all Ericsson business units and all ten geographical regions. The position will be hosted in the Marketing & Communications organization of Business Unit Support Solutions and have functional reporting to the Head of Marketing & CMO of Ericsson.
Main responsibilities:
• Define the global marketing strategy for TV & Media
• Develop, maintain and secure successful execution of the global marketing plan to deliver on the marketing strategy
• Develop differentiated key messages based on Ericssons complete TV & Media portfolio across all Business Units to address customers as well as industry analysts, influencers and key ecosystem players.
• Serve as a key public spokesperson and evangelist for Ericsson within TV & Media
• Establish strong personal relationships with key industry authorities such as analysts, media and customers
• Build a strong connection and co-operation with the regional marketing and sales teams to secure target fulfillment
• Act as a catalyst to grow the business for Ericsson in TV & Media by driving the business success of our customers
• Bridge to relevant Brand and Product Marketing teams as well as P/L owners.
Qualifications and personal skills:
• Advanced degree from top-tier university
• 5-10 years relevant working experience within Marketing and TV & Media
• Proven experience of leading line- and virtual teams to excel in achieving and exceeding marketing objectives across a multinational and global organization
• Successful track record of working with senior executives across the entire industry
• Excellent customer interaction skills
• Excellent communicator including presentation and story-telling capabilities
• Excellent business skills to analyze market potential, assess competitive forces and recommend appropriate Ericsson responses
• Experience from working with the financial analyst, media and industry analyst community
• Proven capabilities in defining and executing strategic and/or tactical marketing plans delivering successful results
• Quick learner, execution focus and visionary thought leader.
