We are offering you a challenging role as Workplace Architect with the opportunity to contribute and manage projects within IT services through our corporate IT platform. You will be a part of our internal workplace and collaboration team where you will participate in global projects deploying improved ways to work based on workplace and collaboration infrastructure and tools. The role is significant for our company to reach our goal which is to deliver best in class IT services through a corporate IT platform delivered via cloud solutions. Your contribution will be to bring together various elements of the digital workplace and ensure that it is consistent in delivering maximum value to users.
To summarize your job responsibilities:
* From a strategic perspective develop and maintain digital workplace vision, strategy and roadmap.
* Identify clients' needs, provide feasibility reports and design proposals, high level as well as detailed.
* Develop technology policies, standards, frameworks and guiding principles.
* Effectively build influential partnering relationships throughout the organization, coach and mentor colleagues within the area of IT solution architecture.
* Advance architecture discipline and contribute to a shared blueprint for Digital Workplace that aligns with enterprise and best practices standards.
* Take ownership of assigned projects from start to finish to ensure high quality, innovative solutions and functional design within budget and timelines.
* Collaborate with operational counterparts to support and discover opportunities for improvement via automation, process improvements, etc.
* Evolve Modern Desktop Management and support solution & Migration activities
* Hands-on work on daily issues whenever needed
What you bring
We are looking for a technically creative and open-minded architect in the Workplace area with a passion for improving user experience and productivity through technologies. You have the ability to socialize ideas, make recommendations and gather team consensus to solve problems. Your visual awareness and eye for details will come in handy when translating long and short-term plans for architecture into design and implementation of current and future applications. You have in-depth knowledge of managing and developing an enterprise IT infrastructure, primarily based on Microsoft's products, where you have a technical understanding within IT Operations and IT Service Delivery areas.
It is important to us that you have the mind set and experience from working in an agile and project driven organization. You are a strong leader and have experience from leading teams and driving projects in an engaging way. As you thrive in a role where you have to be a conceptual and analytical thinker, you will be a great fit with us. To succeed in this role, you need to have the ability to work productively in a fast-paced environment.
Your background in summary:
* 10+ years of experience in Infrastructure Management, whereof an extensive part within IT Architecture in a large scale, heterogeneous environment
* Prior experience leading digital workplace transformation with a focus on user experience
Main Technical Skills:
* Windows and Azure Active Directory, also Group Policy Design & Architecture
* Software packaging and distribution/Lifecycle management, Imaging and Deployment
* End Point Protection, Advanced Threat Protection
* Hands on Microsoft Technologies (Intune Auto pilot, SCCM, Microsoft Defender)
* Provision the required administrator roles in on-prem and Azure AD
* Performance monitoring and alerting for cloud workload instances
* Automation leveraging Azure CLI, Azure Automation, Power Automate, PowerShell, VBS, to automate and simplify tasks
* Enterprise Mobility suite
