System Value and Cost out Leader - Wind Offshore Platform Program
Role Summary/Purpose:
The System Value and Cost Out Leader will support the Offshore Model Manager and System Integration Leaders by developing and maintaining integrated project plans for all engineering functions to deliver on the Offshore platform cost targets and cost reduction programs. He/she will need to set up the processes and metrics to create component and system level cost transparency, awareness and ownership.
Essential Responsibilities:
Included is the allocation of component and sub-assembly cost targets and the measurement towards these goals. He/she will provide program leadership and manage the offshore cost reduction NPI Programs including budget and schedule. Together with the system Integration leaders the Systems Value and Cost Out Leader will define roadmaps to met cost targets, define scope of work, track and manage budget expenses, provide financial reports and progress status. He/she will work closely together with the Product Line Leadership and cross-functionally with Finance, Sourcing, Service, etc. to maintain integrity with the business plan and to ensure proper coordination. The Systems Value and Cost Out Leader would integrate specifically for the product cost the business planning with the Product Line leaders, functional managers and the Program Management office to coordinate the strategic growth and operational planning.
