This job offers you a position in the Volvo Wheel Loader Software Development team. We work cross functional in an agile environment with developers from many R&D disciplines, Production, Market and Aftermarket, as well as dealers and customers.

As a part of our software design team you will help build and develop todays Wheel Loaders and upcoming generations to keep our position: Number One in Customer Satisfaction! This is done in long term projects and by solving issues with need of direct attention from field. Always keeping a balance between Quality, Delivery, Cost, Feature and Customer expectations. You will contribute to the team with your enthusiasm and common goal to build a Wheel Loader we all can be proud of.
ROLE DESCRIPTION
We work with SW design challenges in all Technology readiness levels (from AE to industrialization projects). For example; new steering system, Load Assist applications in Android, remote controlled functionality, autonomous functions, next generation HMI as well as maintenance and enhancement of current system designs.
As one of us you will have the possibility to lead and drive your functional development from stakeholder need, setting requirements, implement design solutions, test and verify results and all the way to software industrialization and end customer.

We are looking for someone who enjoys embedded software system development. Is structured and communicative. Someone that has a M.Sc, B.Sc or equivalent in Software development and preferably has a passion for yellow construction machines.
