The programme runs for 12 months - probably one of the most eventful years in your career. We promise you hard work, plenty of knowledge, as well as lots of challenges. Your workdays will, among other things, be filled with project missions at your home department but also at other companies within the Volvo Group as well as a three-month short-term assignment abroad.
How to join:
The recruitment process will be carried out locally in each participating country. If you are interested in applying for several countries you will have to submit your application to each country and you will also need a valid work permit for the country you apply for. Please note that the recruitment process varies by country.

What are the basic requirements for applying to the programme?
• University degree, preferably a master in engineering science, computer science, business administration or logistics (depending on position).
• Valid work permit for applied country if not a citizen.
• Well spoken and written English. (Additional languages are given merit).
• Leadership potential as defined below:
• Customer focused- Is dedicated to meeting the expectations and requirements of internal and external customers. Acts with a business mindset.
• Technical Learning- Picks up on technical things quickly and is good at learning new industry, company, product or technical knowledge.
• Peer Relationship -Are assertive and can easily find solutions for the good of all. Is seen as a team player and shows respect.
• Integrity and trust -Is widely trusted and is seen as a direct and truthful individual. Keeps confidences and admits mistakes
• Standing Alone- Being able to stand alone on a tough assignment.
• Action Oriented - Enjoys working hard and is full of energy. Seizes challenges and opportunities.
• Perseverance - Pursues everything with energy, drive and a need to finish.
• Learning on the fly - Learns quickly when facing new problems. Analyzes both success and failures for clues to improvement.
