The Manufacturing Engineering department manages the global development and implementation of manufacturing processes at Volvo Car Engine. We develop the manufacturing solutions for future products in cross-functional collaboration with Research & Development and Purchasing.
We need a number of new colleagues with competences in the following areas:
• Manufacturing Technologies, Mechanical Engineering, Automation and Shop Floor Control
• Manufacturing Strategies and Project Management
• Manufacturing Systems, Flow and Line Design
• Productivity Engineering and Industrial Engineering
Research and specialist positions are available within the above areas.
Required qualifications
• University degree or equivalent
• Relevant experience from at least one, preferably several, of the above mentioned work areas
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken
Personal qualities
• Problem solving skills
• Strong communication capability
• Result oriented with Business Acumen
• Open-minded, flexible
• Leadership skills and ability to work within a team environment
