At Bokio, the Visual Designer will play an important role in how we shape and build our products. You will work closely with other world-class Product Designers, Researchers, Developers, Serial Entrepreneurs and Business Strategists with the courage to create new disruptive products that will impact the everyday life of our users.
With an international and fast-growing team composed of 85+ employees in Gothenburg and Stockholm, we are now looking to hire an experienced Visual Designer to our growing product organisation.
WHAT YOU WILL DO AT BOKIO
Craft, lead, and own a scalable yet compelling Visual Designer language across the product teams.
Contributing for the development of the Product Designers and Devs through collaboration, sharing feedback and knowledge.
Work closely with our Art director to align brand experience.
Understand the product vision and strategy and convert resulting in emotionally engaging experiences.
Key contributor for the design system team, from building components to documenting design patterns.
Advocate for UI best practices and accessibility.
Deliver simple yet compelling product interactions to make our product feel more "alive".
WHO YOU ARE
You have experience working with UI & Visual design for both web & mobile.
You have experience creating compelling new UI design and visual product experiences for a product area, and connecting those to a broader product vision.
You are passionate about putting people in the center of everything you do.
You have the ability to analyze data and identify potential improvements.
You feel comfortable using product software tools such as Figma, Adobe After Effect, Illustrator and Lottie.
You have an understanding about how branding can affect user's perception and decisions.
You have the ability to work quickly, independently and pragmatically.
You are not afraid to take ownership.
You have good communication skills and see copywriting as a natural part of your design process.
You are fluent in English. At Bokio we speak English as our main language and you'll be working with people from all over the world.
BONUS IF...
You can translate your design to code.
You have a masters or bachelor degree in interaction design or similar.
You can speak and write Swedish.

LOCATION
We have a Hybrid work model with central offices in Gothenburg and Stockholm. The position can be located in either office with the possibility to work flexible remote.
