We are looking for a Vice President Retail Development & Key Account, Sales Europe

About the position
This role is a combination of several major assignments.

As VP Retail Development & Key Accounts you will drive and coordinate cross-regional development activities for dealer development, global standards and best practice, competence development and special application solutions.

Further you will coordinate global account management and together with the global key account community set standards and work with continuous improvement processes tools and methods.

You will also have the responsibility for dealer development and implementation of standards and best practice, competence development, special application solutions and key account management activities in Sales Europe and in selected areas in Sales International.

In this role you will manage owned dealer operations in Sales Europe.

In all roles your lead in a collaborative way, with high level of business acumen, holistic view and continuous improvement approach.

You will report to our SVP Sales Europe and be a part or the regional management team.
You will lead a management team of sub functions. This position is part of a new regional structure and we are also looking for your colleagues for other commercial market areas and functions. In total we will be a regional team of around 15 colleagues working together in close collaboration with other Volvo CE functions.

What will you do?
Drive and coordinate global activities, such as standards and best practice for dealer development in close collaboration with the 7 regions
Drive and coordinate global activities for competence development in close collaboration with the 7 regions
Drive and develop the special application solutions business
Coordinate global account management activities for selected key accounts
Assume retail development and key account management scope of responsibility for Sales Europe and in selected responsibility areas in Sales International
Manage owned dealer operations in Sales Europe

We expect that you have:
University degree or appropriate academic qualification
Minimum 7-10 years from a senior leadership commercial role within transport solution/construction industry
In-depth knowledge of capital equipment industry - market trends, financial indicators, equipment financing, competitor products and strategies, customer segments and customer support criterion, dealer business model operations
Extensive experience from dealer business and operation
Senior global leadership experience in multi-cultural environment and in a matrix structure
Solid experience in strategy development and execution
Ability to build and develop organizational culture, cope with organizational agility and drive continuous improvement
Willing to travel internationally on frequent basis
Location for the position can be discussed within Volvo CE Europe locations
