As Unit Manager, you will lead, development and maintain the strategic direction of product development. You will design key end2end processes and create a roadmap for implementation.
You will work in close collaboration with brands and other functions to achieve measurable business outcome and impact. You will lead and drive all elements of development and deployment of innovative digital products, including setting the product vision, defining high-level features and ensure alignment with technology and business strategy and defining the roadmap for achieving it. You will own delivery of capabilities, per business specification, time, and budget. You will work with teams that are accountable for improvement and maintenance of capabilities in collaboration with other functions and operations within BT.
Our units are big functional domains and the work of leading the unit will be critical for us to meet the ever-evolving customer demands. You will be a decision maker and shape the future together with us from a Product & engineering standpoint. This involves you leading, developing, and implementing our technology strategy but also be essential in the development of the solutions. You will work with other functions to meet the demand and will be responsible for output of you whole unit.
Job Description
• Accountable for developing technology that delivers measurable business outcome and impact
• Lead ideation, product development, and implementation of innovative business support applications to streamline and automate Business Tech processes
• Accountable for all elements of product/capability development, from conceptualization to its deployment and post-deployment.
• Accountable for driving a data-driven approach to decision making, both in day-to-day management and in making strategic trade-offs
• Accountable for the success of the unit, ensuring the spend on product/capability development delivers the expected KPI benefits
• Active drive and engage in partnerships to ensure positive business outcomes and impact short, mid, and long term
• Proactively drive discussions with other units, functions, and brands to develop and maintain the strategic direction of leaps and product/capability development in the unit.
• Identify and generate innovative ideas that grow market share, drive commercial & business value, and customer experience
• Overall responsibility for quality, security, and frictionless user experience within Corporate Component Unit
• Strengthen our Company Culture by promoting feedback in our daily work and coach the engineering teams to do the same
Qualifications

• 10+ years of senior leadership experience leading a complex organization with 300+ employees in your line organization.
• 10+ yrs of business and commercial experience in leading products development capabilities from Retail, Ecommerce and omnichannel.
• Full commercial awareness and strong decision-making ability to balance new feature development & commercial returns
• Strong experience in Agile and DevOps Practices
• Ability to engage various technical and non-technical stakeholders across H&M Group, being both persuasive and able to influence as needed to get buy-in on product ideas
• Ability to lead a major change effort impacting several dimensions of our business, people, and organizations
