About your workplace
Perido is looking for a UI Designer for one of our clients, a Sweden-based airline company. The company's core business is operating passenger flights to, from and within Scandinavia. The future is ever-changing and to stay on top in the industry this company has developed a strategic plan for the most accelerated technological transformation they have made so far. The headquarter is an architect-designed building with open-air café and a small, landscaped pond. It is nicely located just north of central Stockholm with proximity to nature and walking paths through the park.
Your daily tasks
The engineering teams are organized in value streams and as UI designer you will work in the App stream to:
Brainstorm innovative solutions and create fantastic, engaging, and intuitive solutions together with the digital team.
Create beautiful and selling designs.
Help develop and maintain the new atomic design system.
Be part of designing the next generation of the company's award-winning app.
Collaborate closely with designers, developers, product owners and other stakeholders in cross-functional teams.
Play a vital role in evolving the digital environments at the company.
Iterate existing designs, improving, and pushing them to the next level.
Stay on top of design trends, new developments and what is happening in the industry.
Are you the one?
The person we are looking for is talented, creative, and passionate about digital design - continuously evolving and keeping up to date with best practices and the latest trends. You have strong organizational skills, and you know how to translate brand guidelines and tone of voice into detailed design and visual compositions. Further on we believe that you have the ability to prioritize and organize your work to meet commitments in multiple projects simultaneously. Your workstyle is collaborative and open-minded, and you get things done quickly and efficiently.
It is necessary that you are social, outgoing, and communicative to be able to share concepts and ideas in multi-disciplinary teams, as well as to have the ability to relate to stakeholder groups including clients, developers, and executive management.

Requirements
Degree in design or experience creating great visual designs
Minimum of one (1) year of experience, with an excellent understanding of app design as well as web design, usability and working within brand guidelines
Demonstrated expertise in designing for web
Portfolio to share with us, including samples of work, outlining business needs and proposed solutions
In-depth knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch and Figma
Fluent communication skills in English, both oral and written
Contract type and hours
Full time contract. Initially 6 months assignment as Perido consultant, after which potential permanent employment with the client. Start as soon as possible.
