As Turbo system Product Quality responsible you are in charge of improving and pro-actively working with turbo system product quality and is empowered to lead change towards developing a quality mindset and culture within the Powertrain Engineering turbo system community.
In particular, the Turbo system Product Quality responsible supports the organization with actionable information about product quality, quality issues and root cause counter measure proposals. You will coordinate/lead all engineering quality activities associated to turbo system technologies according to quality targets. You will also ensure usage and harmonization of quality processes and tools within turbo system technologies development, across products, sites and suppliers.
At Powertrain Engineering we are actively working to establish teams that will take maximum advantage of the strength inherent differences in knowledge, experience, age, gender and nationality.

Wanted profile
We are looking for an engaged engineer who loves challenges and has a passion for quality.
We believe that you are an engineer with strong trouble shooting and problem solving ability.
You lead by example and have a proven track record of delivering results through both determination and courage. You continuously demonstrate integrity, perseverance and personal leadership.
As a person you are structured and innovative. You have a strong customer focus, business savvy and a pragmatic attitude. You enjoy teamwork and naturally inspire a positive team spirit. You have a deep interest and skill for quality. You like taking responsibility, and you are comfortable in developing new procedures and governance structures should existing ones be operating in a non-satisfactory manner.
As product quality is strongly related to product development, we see experience in Six Sigma and/or Agile product development as a merit.
Qualifications
Master of Science in mechanical engineering or similar technical education, with experience from turbo or engine development, is preferred.
Fluent English (both spoken and written).
You have a positive attitude and a drive to deliver results in time. You also have ability to interact and cooperate effectively.
