The Tools and Attachment division (TLD) provides a broad range of consumables, hydraulic equipment and services with the aim of maximizing our customers' productivity.
Would you like to join the Tools and Attachments Division as an Assistant Divisional Controller?
You will support with reporting, follow-up of the divisional results and performance and also support within finance operations at the customer centers, product companies and distribution centres.
The role offers valuable experience and extensive knowledge within the broad field of controlling. It offers exposure to the Epiroc organization worldwide through regular interaction within reporting and participation in operational/support projects. Together, we will develop the role to provide opportunities for skills development, greater responsibilities and stretch assignments to meet your ambition.
As Assistant Divisional Controller it is your mission to actively support the TLD Vice President Controlling and Finance as well as to ensure sound, on-time financial reporting and providing information to allow pro-active follow-up of the division's results and performance.
Job Description
Your main responsibilities will be:
* Consolidation of the division results in the Group reporting system (ECS). This will include processing, analysis and follow-up of incoming reporting from our operational units. Review and development of divisional reporting processes and analysis to ensure control and maximum efficiency.
* Active support in the Consolidation Process with analysis of the division performance and development and perform necessary adjustments and elimination.
* Active support to the TLD VP Controlling and Finance with preparation of analytical reports with effective presentation of data and scorecards; coordination of the reporting and planning process within the division, creation of various ad-hoc reports in ECS, and other ad hoc questions and follow-ups within the division.
* Active resource for the divisional control team in both day to day tasks and ad-hoc projects; which will include support to our customer centers, product companies and distribution centers world-wide in the area of reporting and analysis, and leading or participating in various operational improvement projects.
Participation in the training and development of Business Controllers in our administrative companies and hubs.
Your profile
We believe that you have a university degree in business administration, with a solid base education in areas of accounting, cost benefit analysis, internal control, finance and economics. Education in international business and marketing is a plus. You should also have several years of post-graduate work experience. International experience, either from living or from working abroad, is considered a plus.
In addition to the qualified professional knowledge for the position, the successful candidate should have experience from and understanding of product-, distribution- and sales companies, a broad business understanding, a strong customer orientation and a keen interest to broaden the scope of his/her capacity.
An excellent understanding of MS Office, in particular Excel, is required. Fluency in written and oral communication in English is necessary.
Location and travel
Moderate travel is anticipated to allow for the support of the customer centers and divisional hubs.
This position is located in Fagersta, Sweden.
