Description
Our client is looking for a Test Lead / Manager. As Test manager at the client you will coordinate end-to-end tests including external tests using appropriate testing methodologies and tools including risk, issue and defect management all to ensure quality outcomes are delivered. You will also support the feature teams in planning the tests and promote the test strategy including test automation.
Mandatory competence and experience:
• You have strong leadership skills, are a great communicator, and you communicate fluently in English
• You are collaborative with excellent coordination skills and ready to do hands-on work where you are needed
• You have at least 5 years' experience as a test lead with proven track record of different areas of testing, including functional and non-functional testing (security, performance and recovery testing)
• Good understanding of agile software development methodologies
• A Master's or Bachelor's degree in computer engineering/science or similar is a benefit but not a necessity. Equally important as any formal training or education is that you have a passion for testing and the quality aspects of software development with a strong interest in keeping you updated on the relevant trends in the industry and technology.
Preferred competence and experience:
• Preferably experience of leading and coordinating end-to-end tests in large complex environments
• Preferably experience to work hands-on, with good command of tools and automation frameworks used in software testing
