Job Description:
Husqvarna AB is currently looking for a Test Engineer - Battery to join our skilled team in Huskvarna.
In this role, you will work hands-on in the lab to conduct testing at both the component and product levels to verify mechanical and electronic functionality. Your responsibilities will include developing and executing verification plans, writing test protocols, and compiling reports to document results and perform detailed analyses.
You will also collaborate with R&D teams, OEM suppliers, and production units to improve our testing methodologies and processes, ensuring increased efficiency and accuracy. Key Responsibilities:
Perform functional tests on battery-powered electronic components and systems
Document results through test protocols and analytical reports
Develop and execute verification and validation plans
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product compliance with customer specifications
Contribute to continuous improvement of testing methods and lab processes
Requirements:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering (Electronics or Mechanics)
Strong hands-on experience with mechanical and electronic function measurements
Proven ability to communicate findings based on data ("fact-based" communication) with internal stakeholders and OEM suppliers
Broad technical understanding of electrical integration and battery-driven product systems
Proficient in both Swedish and English (spoken and written)
Analytical, structured, and solution-oriented mindset
Strong customer focus with the ability to translate real-world problems into robust technical solutions
Team player with excellent communication skills
