As the Tender SCM Manager of the Grids & Power Quality Solutions organization within Power Grids, you will have a key role, leading the SCM activities across the organization in Sweden.

Tasks:
Grids & Power Quality Solutions (G&PQS) was recently formed with the merger of the FACTS teams and the System Integration/Substations Services teams.The SCM organization is responsible for strategic sourcing for projects within the Local Product Group. This entails setting up and executing the sourcing strategy, supplier selection, negotiations, as well as involvement in supplier qualification, audits, contracts etc. in accordance with global guidelines.

In close cooperation with the local Tender Project Team you will be responsible for establishing the Tender Sourcing Plan, based on the sourcing related conditions of the client's tender specification, for the G&PQS sourcing strategy, and for facilitating its adoption by all parties during tender process.

Keeping in mind ABB's overall standards, strategy and goals you will pro-active participate in the Tender Capture Team for selected target projects and you will be responsible for developing schedules as well as estimating forecasts and budgets to support all procurement requirements during the tender phase.

A strong sense of ownership will help you take responsibility to identify sourcing related opportunities and critical project conditions under consideration of the overall business sourcing strategies and ensures customer approval for Tender Supplier list. You will involve the Category Managers and Local Strategic Buyers for affected categories, defining together the target price for main equipment and ensure timely receipt of requested offers.

Requirements:
The successful candidate will preferably have experience from managerial, strategic supply chain management and tendering roles in the industrial environment. You preferably have experience from a system business, and you have good technical knowledge in power transmission technologies. In addition, you have experience with risk management, have financial skills, knowledge of contractual set ups, and an understanding of our technology and customers' requirements.

You hold a University degree in a relevant field. As you will be working in a global environment, it is necessary that you have the ability to work with people from various parts of the world and that you are fluent in English, written and spoken alike. Knowledge of Swedish is a plus.

On a personal level, you are an analytical leader and a team player with an independent and solutions-oriented working style, as well as strong communicative and collaborative skills. Through your experiences in negotiations you achieve commitments as well as results.
