Temporary Innovation Development Project Manager, Innovation Development - GTP Innovative Purchasing

GTP is located in 52 sites around the world, has 1 300 employees and a yearly spend of 120 BSEK. We have 2,550 suppliers in serial production that delivers 1,9 billion parts to Group Truck plants annually. Innovative Purchasing is a function within Group Trucks Purchasing (GTP). Our responsibilities can be categorized as follows:
Scouting innovation and new technologies.
Researching industry business intelligence.
Being the purchasing interface within early phase project management.
Leading sustainability initiatives within purchasing.

GTP - Innovative Purchasing is now seeking a temporary Project Manager to lead an organizational process change management project. The process is in how we work with innovation.

Reporting To: Director Innovation Development, GTP Innovative Purchasing

Location: Gothenburg

JOB DESCRIPTION
Your main focus within this role is to finalize development, cross functionally anchor, and propose an implementation plan that identifies how the Purchasing department will work with and process innovation specifically in the form of partnerships. The term of the assignment is for 3 months.

Your main focus will be to:
Project Management - Lead all project activities by understanding stakeholder needs, implementing new processes, improving existing processes, and delivering on expectations and deadlines for the projects assigned
Never stop challenging, questioning, pushing what is possible. Be proactive.
Be accountable for your actions and deliveries. Infuse all that you do with the highest level of trust and integrity.

Who are you?
The Innovation Development Project Manager is future oriented and loves the challenges our broad scope brings. It is not standard purchasing; we look for a true change agent and developer. You absolutely need to have excellent communication and networking skills. It is a collaborative position with an intellectual challenge. Leadership skills are also essential as you will also be leading a cross department working team.

Required knowledge/experience
In this position you will be part of the Innovation Development team and report to the Director of Innovation Development, GTP Innovative Purchasing. To be successful in your new role we want you to have the following knowledge/experience:
Excellent communication skills. Every day, you will be communicating every day with a wide range of stakeholders across a broad range of topics.
Excellent organization skills. You have extensive experience creating new processes and improving existing processes.
Successful management of multiple tasks with competing deadlines. You thrive in an environment where flexibility and adaptability are the modus operandi.
Proven delivery of projects and initiatives. We are Purchasing and thus very results oriented!
Skilled working both independently and in groups.
Masters or bachelor university degree in a scope related field with experience and knowledge of trucks. Basically, you have been to school, you have had experience in this field and know a thing or two about our truck business.
Great communication skills in English.
Ability to build long term trusting relationships. Have a positive personality.
