We are now looking for a top performing System Engineer to join our Infrastructure Design team located in Stockholm Sweden. We strive to achieve our targets with top of the line operation and cost efficient production environment. As our System Engineer you will use the latest technologies in a very dynamic business. You will be part of creating the foundation for successful IT operations.
Your place at the table
As System Engineer you will work with a wide variety of tasks surrounding server operating systems. You will evaluate and plan OS upgrades/patches to get efficient Patch Management for us and do continuous hardware evaluation and sizing to maintain our Server hardware roadmap. Plan and initiate hardware replacement to achieve tailored Server lifecycle management.
Your gaming skills and experience - To be our player you have:
• A degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or equivalent work experience
• A minimum of three years? experience in RedHat Linux based platforms.
• Experience of working with x86 server hardware from vendors such as HP, IBM and Dell.
• Knowledge and experience in server hardware sizing. Experienced in VMware and Linux KVM virtualization software is an advantage.
• Fluent in written as well as spoken English
