Do you have a great attention to detail, can administer Windows and Linux servers and want to work somewhere that makes a real difference? Greenpeace is looking for an energetic, results-driven and self going person to provide system and network support that will help to ensure the smooth functioning of the Greenpeace Nordic organization in 4 countries.

Greenpeace Nordic is looking for a System and Network Administrator. Your role would be responsible for the maintenance, monitoring, troubleshooting, security, installation, migration and upgrades of our internal, external and cloud hosted systems as well as the networking infrastructure for the Greenpeace Nordic offices (Stockholm, Helsinki, Copenhagen, and Oslo).

If you have an excellent attention to detail and a focus on quality, a strong and innovative approach to problem solving and finding solutions and have a flexible and self motivated we would love to hear from you.

You should have

• At least 3-4 years work experience relevant to systems administration

• Experience with virtualization hypervisors and management tools, preferably VMWare

• Hands-on system administration experience is a small-midsized organization (100-200 users). In-depth knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory and a good understanding of Linux.

• Experience in Active Directory and GPO management and administration on Windows Server 2008r2

• Ability to create or identify technology trends for consideration by the organization

• Proven track record in working in a project-based IT unit including the ability to participate in project design, planning, reporting, and change management

• Experience in network, application and service monitoring

• Good written and spoken English and preferably one other Nordic language

Occasional travel is required, mainly in the Nordic area but also attending international meetings. The job is a full time position based on Södermalm in Stockholm.
