What we are looking for
To be able to meet the increasing demand of electricity in the future we at Uniper believe that it's necessary to invest in all fossil free alternatives. Nuclear Power is a cornerstone in the Swedish power system providing reliable and clean energy, including several grid stabilizing services.
To meet the growing demand for sustainable energy Uniper Nuclear Sweden is now looking for a Strategy Development Lead to join the newly established Asset Strategy Nuclear function. The main responsibility of the department is to drive the overall strategic agenda for the nuclear asset portfolio at Uniper by leading and supporting several strategic initiatives.
As our Strategy Development Lead you will have the opportunity to greatly impact and influence the execution and development of the Nuclear business at Uniper, through coordination and driving multiple strategic initiatives within the Nuclear business. By seeking and driving the various possibilities and opportunities to support Uniper Nuclear impact to the decarbonization agenda in the Nordics. The position is placed in Malmö but traveling will occur on a regular basis.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Actively contribute to the strategy implementation
• Steer and drive strategical business development initiatives
• Create and coordinate financial and strategic decision material for management
• Develop key areas within Nuclear ecosystem through close cooperation with different group functions
• Assess the effectiveness and performance of the strategic initiative portfolio
• Ensure a coherent communication through cross-organizational initiatives
• Continuously develop and support governance related to strategic development

Uniper is part of Sweden's critical infrastructure and our operations are covered by, among other things, rules related to protective security, export control and nuclear non-proliferation. We will therefore carry out security clearance of all positions and complement with register control for security classified positions, according to the Protection Security Act. Health and drug tests are performed if applicable.
Who we are seeking
You have a college or university degree, and preferably a master's degree, within a relevant subject such as Engineering, Business Administration, Economics or similar. Preferably you have experience in working as a business developer or project manager. Relevant experience within the energy sector and management consulting is considered an advantage.
The ability to communicate effectively at multiple levels with excellent presentational skills are expected. As the role is set in an international environment, you need to be fluent in written and spoken Swedish and English. Excellent skills in Microsoft Office is required.
To be successful in the role you need the willingness and ability to drive and challenge performance along with a strong analytical mindset. You have the ability to see the big picture, find a pragmatic approach and at the same time be a team player. You also have a strong sense of accountability, personal drive and a high level of commercial awareness.
