hela Sverige Product Support Systems is a global organization located in Arendal, Greensboro, Curitiba, Lyon, Bangalore and Ageo. We are responsible for providing workshop system support needed within the Volvo Group aftermarket.
We work together with Product Development, Volvo IT and our external suppliers.
Tech Tool is our system used in more than 26000 PC's around the globe in the workshop network. It's a tool for the mechanics that integrates guided diagnostic/fault tracing, service information and vehicle programming on the Volvo Group products (trucks, excavators, buses).
As a Subject Matter Expert for Tech Tool central systems you are the aftermarket expert within the broad domain of "central systems". Details about all trucks visiting a workshop are documented in Volvos central databases. Connecting a physical truck with all software within to a PC is involving many items. Tech Tool, as a data driven system, needs to have a consistent starting point for any fault tracing.
In this role, you act as a link between our customer, end-users and other departments within Volvo Group and other systems. You act as our guru whenever we have new requirements in this area, issues to solve or questions to respond to. You are the after market system representative in forum within this domain.
Qualifications
• You have a University degree in engineering or system development or equal experience
• You are a person with an analytical mind with proven experience to find the essence in complex matters
• Good communication skills in English - both written and verbal
It's an advantage if you have experience from the Volvo Group systems handling truck diagnostic and software (SEWS, VDA, Configurator, KOLA, Baldo, NAMS) but equal experience from other companies is also valuable.
