Structural Mechanics Engineer for Structural Calculations, R&D Hudiksvall
Hiab is a world leading player in providing load handling solutions to a market of professionals.
Our products are advanced machinery equipment integrating mechanic, hydraulic and electronic design and solutions to provide first class customer benefits.
We are entering the next development stage and our department, R&D Medium Range Cranes, responsible for development of loader cranes and recycling cranes in the medium range, needs to strengthen our Structural Calculations Team.
Your assignments are to perform strength calculations on our cranes and also develop our calculation methods. The calculations are performed in compliance to European Standards and internal directives. You will also order work from our own Development Laboratory which affords excellent opportunities to verification and knowledge acquirement. We are using Ansys together with Creo and SpaceClaim to perform FEA, and also internal developed software.
You have an academic education with a degree in engineering. You should have several years' experience from strength calculations. The development projects take place in a multi-national environment and you have good proficiency in spoken and written English. Experience from fatigue in welded steel structures is considered as an additional qualification.
You have an analytical ability, a great interest for solving problems and getting things done. You are a team player who cooperates and shares your knowledge with your colleagues.
