The Strategic Project Manager for Cytiva is mainly responsible for leading the strategic projects and supporting in the strategic plan for the Downstream Hardware and Consumables business unit. You will work in a cross functional environment and support the entire business unit. Downstream Hardware and Consumables are responsible for biomanufacturing chromatography and filtration equipment, software and consumables, as well as laboratory chromatography equipment. Among our products you will find strong brands such as ÄKTA and UNICORN.
This position is part of the Downstream Hardware and Consumables strategy team located in Uppsala and will be an on-site role. At Cytiva, our vision is, to advance future therapeutics from discovery to delivery.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
Lead and support in cross functional strategic projects
Support with analysis, strategic thinking and defining opportunities in the business units strategy plan and strategic initiatives
Driving the sustainability strategy and initiatives
Work in a global environment with stakeholders and team members at different sites
Collaborate with other relevant functions to ensure execution in the business unit
The essential requirements of the job include:
Bachelor's degree in Biotechnology, Engineering, Marketing, Business Finance or other Life Science related field
Experienced in managing cross functional projects within R&D, Product Management and Operations
Ability to collaborate across organizations and communicate with senior-level leadership
Experience working in a global environment with an ability to travel globally
Proficient in both English and Swedish with excellent communication skills
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
Working experience in a Life Science business is considered a strong merit
Experience in Security of supply is a merit
Product experience in hardware and/or software
