We are now looking for our next Strategic Planning Manager.
Who are we and what does a Strategic Planning Manager at Volvo Trucks do?

Apart from having competent, inspiring and challenging colleagues you will drive and coordinate the services strategy, governance and act as support to the Services and Customer Quality management. You are responsible for managing Volvo Trucks services strategy. In the role you will be driving the services governance as well as conduct and lead strategic evaluations. You participate in annual planning cycles and drive business development projects. All of this work is of course done in close collaboration with knowledgeable colleagues and decision makers across the Volvo Trucks organization and the Volvo group. We believe that the best way to create success is through communication, knowledge sharing and having fun together at work.
A part of your work will also be to prepare and present decision material in the relevant fora, as well as prepare larger management meetings and conferences dealing with strategic issues. You scope, plan and drive strategic projects of different nature, e.g. setting market or regional strategies, evaluate and secure decisions on specific strategic questions. Apart from this, what the job consists of depends on you - we believe that engagement is created through inclusion which is why you will have involvement in creating this role.

Who are you?

If we are going to talk about background anyway, even though that doesn't matter the most to us, we believe you have somewhat similar background to the following:
• Experience in working with strategy or business development
• Knowledge of or a good understanding for the automotive industry. Specific skills in services and aftermarket is considered an advantage
• Project leader and (business) management skills
• Excellent presentation skills
• University degree in business or engineering
• Fluent in written and spoken English
But as we said, most of all we value you as a person and your excellent ability to structure and resolve complex issues, your strong drive to develop and to get things done and your ability to work in networks cross functionally.
