We give you the opportunity to work closely with our customers, Volvo group representatives from all truck divisions and Business areas, and develop IT solutions that solve concrete challenges and business problems.
Role Mission & Context
The mission of the solution expert is to take responsibility for application lifecycle management.
The solution expert also takes responsibility to manage end user, business and IT requirements for applicable solutions and operationally manages the solution on behalf of or in collaboration with the solution leader.
The solution expert mainly interfaces with business process developer, process & solution key users and the solution leader. The job requires excellent solution understanding, combined with related process knowledge and solution dependencies and interfaces. The solution expert ensures, in the area of responsibility, consistent and efficient usage of solution.
Examples of Responsibilities
• Support solution leader to manage the Process & Solution Key User network in collaboration with the business process developer
• Participate in various key user networks and work groups as well as advanced engineering groups, as a representative of EPTS Plan & Schedule
• Provide process and functional application support (business solution support) within the solution area
• Support continuity management for the solutions
• Be a Subject Matter Expert
• Support the solution leader to secure and maintain complete solution documentation including user manual and training material and its execution for the solution
• Execute trainings together with process and solution key user and business process developer
• Perform quality assurance activities of end user support, for example root cause analysis, end-to-end support quality etc.
• Support the review of and analyse the business process and business requirements and its impact on the overall solution

Competencies
• Relevant subject matter expertize
• Experience from working in an IT delivery organization including solid knowledge about methods used

• Communication & presentation skills required
• Experience from working in a global context

• Complete proficiency in English is a requirement
